JLL Mechanical was founded by two business partners who spent seven years working HVAC-R for NYC companies before deciding it was time to build something of our own. Both of us immigrated from Albania, and both of us are still out in the field today — on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and inside walk-in coolers alongside our technicians, not just running the business from behind a desk. That hands-on experience is why we can diagnose a problem correctly the first time, and why every job gets treated the way we'd want it treated if it were our own building.

Direct communication with the technician doing the work. Photo-documented jobs. No subcontractor handoffs — our licensed team handles the electrical, refrigerant, and mechanical work ourselves. We fix what's broken, not what's profitable to replace.

Seven years in the field taught us where NYC HVAC-R is going — refrigerant transitions, VRF systems built for older buildings, and a growing push toward electrification under Local Law 97. We're part of the NYSERDA Clean Heat contractor network and continuing to build the technical depth to help commercial property owners and managers navigate what's coming, not just repair what's already broken.
