Ductless Mini-Split Cleaning in NYC

Full-disassembly deep cleaning of ductless indoor units: coil, blower wheel, fan housing, drain pan and filters. Before and after photos for every job.

What we do

Deep cleaning that goes inside the unit

Ductless indoor units collect dust, grime and moisture on the coil, blower wheel and drain pan. We take them apart, clean every component and photograph the before and after, across all five NYC boroughs.

Coil cleaning

Foaming coil cleaner on the evaporator coil, then a thorough rinse, so the fins are clean and not just wiped on the surface.

Blower wheel and fan housing

Blower wheels washed and fan housings cleaned, where dirt builds up and drives smells and weak airflow.

Drain pan and housing

Drain pan and housing cleaned so water drains properly and the unit stays fresh.

Filters and photo report

Filters cleaned or replaced, and a written report with labeled photos of every unit.

  • Weak airflow or uneven cooling.
  • Water leaking or dripping from the indoor unit.
  • Visible dust or dark spotting on the louvers, fan housing or blower wheel.
  • Air filters loaded with dust.

What a ductless deep cleaning looks like

In a commercial space in Gramercy, over two visits we took several wall-mounted indoor units apart: front panel, filters, coil cover and blower wheel. We cleaned every component, including the drain pan, and documented the before and after. The full photo set is on the projects page.

Questions

Ductless cleaning FAQ

How often should ductless units be cleaned?

We recommend at least one deep cleaning a year, and more often for kitchens, bars and other high-use spaces. We set the schedule around how the space is used.

Do you take the indoor units apart?

Yes. We remove the front panel, filters, coil cover and blower wheel so we can clean the parts that matter, then reassemble and test each unit.

Do you service VRF systems too?

Yes. See our VRF and mini-split service page.

Can you work in an occupied space?

Yes. We schedule around business hours and keep the work area protected.

What do I get after a cleaning?

A written report with labeled before and after photos.
